I wanted to talk about a scam I've been noticing going on for a long time now, but I haven't seen anyone call it out. It comes in the form of what is most likely a bot commenting on Youtube videos about things like

• personal finance
• economics
• investment
• or stock trading.

The comment is almost exactly the same, or at least very similar in structure. It has

• A lede that acknowledges something said in the video.
• A section which gives out an uncomfortable amount of personal finance information if it wasn't a bot ("I have $100k, and...")
• A concluding section asking what others are doing with their money.

Here's an example from a Dave Ramsey video.

This is obviously a scam. If you see this kind of comment, you shouldn't reply. You might even want to report it. That's all I wanted to say. I'm kind of surprised nobody has seemingly noticed or called out these comments.
